Retro Diva Hair Extensions and Braiding
UPDATE: If you are booking a head of braids for Burning Man we encourage you to book as early in August as possible. Evening and weekend appointments are at a premium and are our weekdays are also starting to fill up.

Micro Rings
These are examples of the micro ring extension system. Here we use small 3mm metal rings to install straight, wavy, or curly pieces of high quality synthetic hair into your own hair, giving it volume and/or highlights. This hair can be washed, hot rollered, blown dry, and flat ironed. Click on any of the thumbnails below to open a larger, more detailed image.
On the model in image 1a, we blended pink, black, and raspberry wavy extensions into her hair and then curled it using hot rollers.
The model in images 1b and 1c had chin length hair when we started. We blended colors to match her own hair and to give her instant hair down her back, we then added highlight pieces in for effect. Finally, we layered her hair to blend her own hair length into the synthetic hair.
Twist Braids
These are examples of the twist method of hair braids. We braid synthetic hair in with your own in a two-strand twist, giving your head an overall soft look. Unlike the stiffer three-stranded method, the twist braids remain flexible and can be kept very thin. Our customers who have had the twist method of braiding done swear by it! The models in images 2a and 2c above have been braided with the twist method using bright colors of UV/Blacklight reactive synthetic hair.
The model in image 2b, also shown full length above, has been twist method braided using mostly natural colors of synthetic hair. We also added beads and plastic Rec Slice strips for decorative accent. Click on any of the thumbnails to open a larger, more detailed image.
